Basic requirements
To make secured calls (protected from wiretapping) it is required Secure Phone be installed on the phone which you call from as well as on the phone which you call to and CSD (Circuit Switched Data) service to be accessible for both these phones. Most of mobile service providers give free access to CSD channel by default.
You can check if CSD service is available for your phone number (SIM-card) by making a test call: you need to get free test Secure Phone program, install it and activate on your smart phone; then you can make secured call to your friend who has Secure Phone on his smart phone too.
Also you can contact a service center of your mobile service provider and check if CSD service is provided by your wireless carrier or if it isn't – to get the info how to activate it.
