The "Settings" page lets you change the settings of Secure Disk such as , speed of encryption, etc.
Show the page interface.
Available settings on this page:
- Speed of encryption.
You may choose to encrypt disks and work with them at the same time or encrypt them quickly without using them. This is what this option is used for. You can have a low encryption speed if you want to work during the encryption process. Or/Otherwise you can choose to have a fast encryption which will may slow down the work of the computer overall.
- Use Dual Core optimization. If there is a Dual Core processor in the computer, you can accelerate the disk encryption (or decryption) if this option is chosen.
- Minimize the box of Secure Disk in the control panel. This will remove the Secure Disk display on the Windows control panel.
- Remember the path to the keystore file on the "Login" page. If you run Secure Disk frequently, you may want the last open file to be shown automatically on the "Login" page in the field "Keystore File" by setting up this parameter.
- Write log files. This records the history of the work activity of Secure Disk in the file on the disk. If any errors occur in Secure Disk work, you may send this report to the developers. It will help them to sort out the issue.
After changing the settings, press the "Apply" button to save these changes. Or you may press the "Restore to defaults" button to get back to the standard settings.
Please Note! While the disk is encrypting you can't change such settings as loader mode, speed of encryption, data security and Dual Core optimization.
